Dear Friends of FAWN,
Today was a special day for FAWN as shipment #19 went off to
Botswana. I talked with Rev Simon Mulosu in Botswana this week and
he said the people of Saphari Village are looking forward to this
shipment coming. We just keeping gathering and sending. It really is
a miracle. It's like the 5 loaves and 2 fishes. We must continue to
take the step of faith to give.
I have so many givers to thank. They are the angels of FAWN. The
young man who give his $5 dollars faithfully every month. The older
Catholic women who brings her cases of Ensure to the church office.
The one, whose love one just died, and their hospice told them to
call FAWN to pick up the remaining cases of liquid nutrition. God
has assembled an army of givers and workers.
I covet your prayers. The FAWN grant to the Kellogg's foundation has
been sent and we could know something by late summer. FAWN is taking
a team to Africa in November to began firming up the program the
grant money will allow us to develop. Basically we will be sending
consistent shipments quarterly. We need to meet with our partners in
Africa and begin implementing our program. This is a dream come true
and is very exciting. Pray!
I have been asked to speak on FAWN at St. Paul's Lutheran Church
in Dearborn Aug 2, 3, 2008. (Sat and Sun.) I'd love to see you there.
God Bless each one of you.
Love and Prayers, Pastor Frank
